SkyePharma offers its partners a leading technology range for dry powder inhalers (DPIs) and HFA propelled (CFC-free) metered dose inhalers (MDIs) and extensive know how and experience in development of inhalation products.
Our DPI is approved for use by the US FDA. Our lead development in the CFC-free MDI is the Pulmicort® HFA-MDI that is marketed by AstraZeneca. SkyePharma developed this new HFA MDI formulation, which employs its proprietary formulation technology, and also conducted the clinical development programme for AstraZeneca. The product has been approved for use in a number of countries in Europe.
