Appointment to the Board

Frank Condella (aged 58) became Non-Executive Chairman on 1 January 2010, having originally joined the Company as Chief Executive Officer in March 2006. He was first appointed to the Board in April 2006, stepping down as Chief Executive Officer on 1 September 2008, remaining on the Board as an Executive Director until 1 November 2008 when he became a Non-Executive Director.

Experience

Frank Condella is President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Columbia Laboratories, Inc. Previously, he was President of European Operations at IVAX, Chief Executive Officer of Faulding Pharmaceuticals Co., Vice-President of the Specialty Care Products business at Roche and Vice-President and General Manager of the Lederle unit of American Home Products. He is a U.S. citizen and holds a BS in Pharmacy and an MBA from Northeastern University.
